Dear wife
I rec' your letter yesterday which gave me great pleasure to here that you and the children was in good health as the departure of this leaves me thanks be to God for his blessing to us all. You made mention of Mary Keegan going the 4 of April. I hope she won't got until I see her for I expect to be hom on the 8 or 10 or April without fail.

I have not much to say at present for in a few days I will be there to converse with ye all. Give my love to Mary if she goes before I get there. Remember me to the children and all inquiring friends. You need not ans. this.
